Fun Run

The magnificent sum of over £200 was raised at the Fun Run on Friday evening. Congratulations to Iona Short and Archie Wotherspoon on being first girl and boy home. The fabulous weather contributed to a very pleasant evening without midges!

At the end of the day

Although our new parents’ car park is so much safer than in the past, Mr Danson is concerned that some parents do not collect their children from the school gate but allow them to cross to their car unattended. This is very dangerous given the number of cars and buses negotiating the car park at the end of the day.To avoid an accident, please would you come to the gate and escort your child to your car.

Aigas Field Centre

On Thursday 7 May, P6/7 pupils and Mrs Gallacher went to Aigas Field Centre as part of their project on 'Being an Author'. They met local author, John Lister Kaye, and learned about about his work and travels.

Welcome to Mr Danson

We now have an Acting Head Teacher, Mr Alan Danson, who has come to us from North Kessock Primary on the Black Isle. Mr Danson will be with us this term and is looking forward to working with the staff and children.

Farewell to Mr McKenna

At school today we bade fond farewell to Gerry McKenna who is off to Florida to recover from his two years at Teanassie.

We wish him all the best and hope, if he is passing, he will drop into school for a warm Highland welcome.
